The contract is for a minimum 6 month period. Sr. Documentum Developer DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES REQUIRED: The Sr. Documentum Developer is responsible for the technical support of the Every Document Now Available (EDNA) electronic Document Management System (eDMS). This position serves as the third level support of EDNA and is responsible for the investigation of system related issues and for the recommendations and implementation of solutions to those issues. The Sr. Developer will also be responsible for maintaining the configuration of Documentum for optimum performance and results. This position will also be responsible for the design, configuration and deployment of changes and modifications to the system, and the implementation of service patches. This position must use judgment on a moment-to-moment basis in most day-to-day decisions. This position will interact with other eDMS support personnel, as well as technology vendors. This position is for a Sr. Developer who will be responsible for mentoring less experienced technical staff. QUALIFICATIONS: 3-5 years experience with a sound knowledge of Documentum architecture, tools, and technology. Solid experience with the latest versions of Documentum 5.3 and Documentum components such as WebTop, WDK, DFC, DCM, Desktop, WCM, and Records Manager. Knowledge of the Windows Server environment and Oracle are required Strong Java/J2EE skills and its use in the development of Documentum. Experience working within a structured software development methodology environment. 2 years working in the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry following CSV and CFR21 Part 11 validation requirements. A self-motivated, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
