*Need a Peoplesoft Functional consultant with strong PO & Inventory experience. *Please forward your consultants resume with contact details and best hourly rate ASAP. * * *Title:* Peoplesoft Functional Consultant *Requirement:* PeopleSoft 9.0 PO and Inventory, Extensive SCM, Upgrade experience *Location:* Detroit, MI *Rate:* DOE *Duration:* 6 months *Description:* The team has 4 IT people for PO and Inventory, the main concern is they are weak on the Inventory side so that is more important overall. *Essential:* - PeopleSoft 9.0 PO and Inventory - Extensive functional fit gap work for PO and Inventory - Inventory expertise - Extensive SCM - Excellent Communication skills * Environment:* This client is on PeopleSoft 8.4 and upgrading to 9.0. They are working on upgrading the PO and Inventory pieces of the system, which are more on the Supply Chain side. They require a strong functional expert that can do the full life cycle upgrade. This person will need to be well versed in 9.0 in order to help in guiding them from one version to the next. It is important the person is stronger on the Inventory side as they do not have as much expertise in that area. *Project* This client needs a senior level PO and Inventory functional expert that can guide them through an upgrade from 8.4 to 9.0. It is important for the person to have done this with 9.0 in order to show them the differences in versions and how to leverage the functionality of the new version. They need someone who has done several PO and Inventory projects, with emphasis on the Inventory side. The person must have done a fit gap and full life cycle upgrades. They must have perfect communication skills and must feel comfortable surveying the current system, working with end users, gathering requirements, and leading the upgrade as an SME. They are a vanilla environment and want to keep it that way, that being said the do a lot of EDI work and that piece is customized so it is helpful if the person has had any exposure with that. This person needs someone who has seen extensive work on the 9.0 environment so they can understand what sort of functionality is present for PO and Inventory in the new version.
