The successful candidate should have experience developing Access and SQL databases in multiple environments and also possess C# or Visual Basic .Net or VB6 experience. Must also have experience with MS Office applications and be able to write or assist in writing technical and user documentation. A bachelors degree in business, information systems, computer science, or another technical field is required and a small amount of travel may be necessary. In this position, you will work with other developers on software defects and issues resolution as well as being required to work with various groups to identify detailed (explicit and implied) application requirements. A rotating on-call pager responsibility may be required in order to provide exceptional customer support to our users. Candidates will be responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements both for the team as well as individually. The successful applicant will also need to assist in the evaluation of existing applications to determine if they can be modified to be included in the BAS team suite of applications. The candidate should also have significant experience with coding, testing, debugging, documentation and installation processes as well as working knowledge of the software development life cycle.
