Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. a.. Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. a.. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution b.. Review system use cases and functional specifications with the appropriate business analyst. c.. Responsible for identifying areas for improvements, implementing process improvements and ensuring long term compliance. d.. Implement the automation process by writing code or scripts e.. Develop Test plan and Test cases. f.. Set up test environment. g.. Document existing functionality. h.. Document test flow and Business flow for application. Required Experience/Skills: a.. Candidates must come from a Testing background rather than Mainframe Development background and have hands on experience with test tools (TSO, File-Aid, capture/playback, Mercury Interactive) b.. Strong in JCL and DB2 c.. Should be able to set up environments for testbed d.. Clist and Rexx knowledge desirable e.. Strong on JCL minimum of 5 years experience f.. File aid and strong knowledge of SQL and DB2 g.. Very strong in IMS/CICS online h.. Systems programming knowledge in CICS and IMS preferable i.. Experience in ISPF panels, CLIST and rexx programming required j.. Should be able understand and read cobol programs k..
