Position: Risk Analyst Location: Mclean, VA Duration: $55/hr Will perform Security Risk Assessments (SRA) for new development and major enhancements to applications and infrastructure components as required by SDLC. The SRA process identifies security risks, analyzes the potential severity of the risks, and formulates reports and recommendations back to the project teams and/or platform owners on remediation or mitigation steps to reduce the risks. Mid-level (3-7 yrs) Information Security background with knowledge of information risk management and audit practices. Security engineering exposure a plus. Ability to translate application security profiles to an assessment of the security risks posed by the application (or application change) being implemented in production.
