As a senior It professional, the individual will contribute to achieving the IT department Work Plan and actively supports development and execution of Commission-wide Annual Actions items. Required Skills: -Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or other related technical disciplines or 5 additional years of relevant IT professional experience. -A minimum of 5 years of experience in data communications administrations and enterprise network operations with demonstrated experience in meeting business user's requirements and SLAs. -Hands-on experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, & BGP), compression algorithms, sever/application load-balancing, CheckPoint Firewall, HSRP, Cisco IOS, packet prioritization or Quality of Service (QoS) and performance tuning. - Experience in system monitoring technologies (i.e. SNMP, HP OpenView, etc.) - Implementing ITIL methodologies to proactively monitor infrastructure environments. - Active industry network certification such as CCNA and/or CCIe.
