Development manager, carry the role of a senior developer working closely
with Technical Lead, Project Managers, Business Analyst and other IT groups;
providing technical leadership for execution of J2EE development projects.
Lead & train other developers(onsite and offshore) in a project to design
and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to
functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability providing realistic
implementation schedules while adhering to company's architectural standards
and principles. Design and develop enterprise solutions for specific
business need that provide frameworks, interfaces and services that can be
extended and reused for future requirements. Understand and contribute to
SOA and Enterprise IT strategies. Work on several initiatives concurrently.
Understand compliance regulations and adhere to development methodologies.
Good understanding and practical use of software design patterns and best
practices. Follow and create development processes needed for the role.

Development Skills

*Additional Skills: *

Hands-on development expertise in J2EE Technologies: JMS, JDBC, Web
development, Transactions, WS-*, JVM, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMX, JTA.
Experience with XML technologies: XSLT, XPATH, DOM, SAX, JAXP, schema,
Namespaces and XML parsers and tools.
