Candidates in and around NY required!! Description: a.. Responsible for developing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery and restoration plans. b.. Analyzes business and technical requirements related to contingency planning. Creates, tests and implements solutions to meet disaster/recovery requirements. Manages disaster recovery vendor relationships. c.. This spot will have the emphasis on Market Data--vendor search (analysis/evaluation/selection process), portal integration between firm and the vendor (single sign on integration between firm and host app). d.. Connectivity with vendors, develop layouts, GUI and integration into the portal with real time data as well as Billing and Tracking of Market Data and usage Roles and Responsibilities: a.. Each of the consultants is required to have strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support a given project. b.. Business experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project. c.. Hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained (generally the folks would have transitioned to project management/analysis some time in the career). d.. Looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve as a subject matter expert in support of the project, thus would expect that the candidates are senior analysts. Responsibilities: All aspects of the project including: a.. Coordinate meetings, working with end users in requirements gathering drafting business requirement and functional specification documents, publishing minutes of meetings, maintaining project plans, ensuring complete test scripts are developed by the QA team coordinate activities with IT. b.. Use guide preparation/training (may be required for some projects). c.. They would need to be proficient in the basic MS Office applications as well as MS VISIO. d.. There would not be a junior staff to support the candidate for the most part the individual would need to perform all these tasks.
