This is my direct client opening for *Avaya Engineer - Lake Mary, FL. This is a long-term contract* position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *local candidates are preferred. * * * *Project Description:* Contractors will provide voice engineering support for the AMEX/EDS Outsourcing engagement. Contractors will support all voice services/products at AMEX sites designated as managed sites in the contract. Sites include domestic and international sites.** * * *Job Description:* Incumbents will provide support for all voice services, (premise/network) utilized by the AMEX client as part of the voice engineering team supporting the recently signed EDS/AMEX outsourcing engagement. Strong knowledge of Avaya voice products required including PBX programming skills/knowledge - Vectors, VDNs, Call Flows etc. Test and turn up skills/knowledge required. Incumbent must be familiar with the process to reboot and back up Avaya voice equipment. Interface with end users to gather requirements/verify deliverables. Manage relationship with voice vendors.
