Expectation- To set up an offshore /onsite model for an SAP QA team SAP QA Team: a.. The opportunity is to provide a QA team to develop automated test scripts for the new Loan Processing System developed at ISG. The new Loan processing System on SAP was developed over a period of 5 years (mostly due to project delays) and was released into production as of February 2008. b.. The application is currently supported by a team consisting of 12 Staff and 10 consultants. c.. Over the course of last 8 months enhancements and bug fixes (total number not known) have been placed into the production system after manual testing, mostly limited to the changes thereby avoiding a complete regression testing due to the lack of automated tests. d.. The current model supports 100 users based out of HQ and 50 back office users based out of Chennai, India. e.. The primary responsibility of the QA team request is to develop the automated scripts. The intention is to achieve 40% - 50 % automated testing if possible over the course of next year. f.. The team on a later date, time to be specified, may be combined to the current Quality Assurance team and may be responsible for signing off changes before they are placed into the production environment. Client is open to have these testing resources to be managed internally by the current same Offshore Test Team Manager.
