This is a year long contract starting in mid February or early March. This contract will start in the NW suburbs but ultimately move to downtown Chicago. Title: UNIX Administrator Description: · Command line knowledge of the above environment. · Will provide standard monitoring support, but will also be tasked with addressing/ fixing any issues that arise. · 2-3 years of experience preferred. · We would like to a couple of lead-level candidates, so if you are a more experienced candidate that has worked in support positions in a lead role, please respond. · MUST have command line experience. · Will support a 24X7 environment Technical Environment: · Primarily Sun/AIX and RedHat Linux but moving towards Open Source. · From a Web Services standpoint, they utilize WebSphere, and also JBoss and Apache (they are morning towards JBoss and Apache).
