Associates Degree in technology preferred. • Preferred Certification: MCSE • Experience with Microsoft products including current and later versions of: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, ISA and the Office suite. • Experience with the following technologies/platforms: UNIX, NT, LAN/WAN, system management tools • Strong communication skills *Essential Duties: *** Produce Hardware and Software Specifications Perform Network-based discovery Initialize Servers Rack & Cable Hardware DBMS Server Modems Remote Access Active Directory Domain Policy Windows Server and Workstation Ethernet networking DNS Time Synchronization Backup and Restore, data and station imaging Backup media handling Physical Security Antivirus Patch Management • Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades (hubs, bridges & routers.) • Assist in supporting an AD environment, internet, intranet, and other data communications systems. • Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software. • Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, and removal.
