Please reply me at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Position : IT Analyst (PowerBuilder) Location : NY Duration : 4 + Months DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Interviews clients, conducts feasibility and return on investment studies, defines system requirements and prepares resource estimates and schedules. Designs computer systems or enhancements, including hardware and software, data bases, screens, reports, security, resource utilization, controls, and change flexibility. Directs/develops written specifications and performs, directs, or guides the development effort. Implements systems into production, including job control, production libraries, change control, scheduling, documentation, and procedures. Manages and controls each assigned project, including the tracking of progress and resource utilization, and the periodic reporting of status to IT and client management.. SKILLS: Minimum: 7 years of related experience Technical ability in PowerBuilder 9 and 10, PowerBuilder Foundation Classes, Java, VB.NET, ASP.NET (Version 1.x through 3.x), Classic ASP Oracle Databases (Version 9i and 10g, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripts System Analysis Ability to coordinate, organize, plan, evaluate, and recommend. Ability to administer, analyze, interpret, create, initiate, resolve, and implement. Demonstrated ability to plan, direct, and take responsible charge of new, original, developmental work with only general supervision. Ability to solve common and uncommon problems. Ability to communicate effectively throughout the department and across the organization.
