*JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:*
Work on the Finance team to implement SAP FI - GL module for U.S. and
International locations. This will involve configuration, conversions,
functional expertise in how to use the FI module, prepare related
documentation and the use of computer tools (Solution Manager,, Quality
Center), planning work tasks, etc.
Analyze business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements,
information need, business processes) by conducting information-gathering
sessions with clients, analyzing the information and prioritizing the
requirements to gain understanding of the business needs.
Knowledge of system design procedures and the ability to translate
functional business requirements into an application system or process to
meet the client's needs that also meets all relevant Company standards.
Ability to holistically conceptualize and model the use of technologies
across a broad set of business applications to translate business strategies
and requirements into technical strategies and to apply the architecture
models to create achievable system designs for business solutions.
Ability to apply the standard application development methods covering the
full development lifecycle (e.g., project preparation, analysis, design,
development, testing, deployment and support) to ensure solution quality and
consistency of process.
Design and develop test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data,
test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing
in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements,
monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to
associates or third parties in order to maintain their productivity level
(including international and fourth level break/fix support).
Work very closely with business decision makers and end users.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to research issues found in SAP ECC in SAP Marketplace (OSS).
*JOB REQUIRMENT REQUIRES SKILLS*
Minimum of 8+ years SAP experience with hands-on experience in SAP FICO
configuration skills in GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets.
5+ Full life cycles of SAP implementation / upgrade projects in the area of
SAP FI/CO.
3+ years of SAP ABAP (FRICEW) development experience in FICO module.
Ability to drive cohesive design across the FI/CO module landscape Hands-on
configuration experience in FI - GL, AP and Fixed Assets.
Knowledge of release version ECC 6.0 and Configuration of New Financial
Accounting.
Ability and willingness to work in international project environment with
possible travel requirements.
Excellent in-depth technical knowledge coupled with extensive hands-on
experience of configuring and delivering business solutions in FI/CO areas.
*DESIRED SKILLS*
Strong financial application background
Key strengths should be in the GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Sub Ledger
Parallel Accounting, currency configuration and period end closing
processes.
Good understanding of the integration points between FI/CO and PS/SD/MM
Modules.
Experience in designing FI/CO processes for a Global Organization
Working experience with all components of ABAP Development Workbench (FRICEW
Components)
Working Knowledge of using BAPIs/IDOCs/BADIs for FICO
enhancements/interfaces and custom developments.
