* * *Position – C# .NET developer* *Location – Chicago, IL* *Duration – 6 + months contract* *Rate - $DOE c2c.* * * *This project is basically a C#.NET code rewrite from v1.1 (with no documentation) to v3.5. * * * * * *A Skills- C# .net, Oracle PL-SQL development skills, clear requirements definition abilities, strong analysis skills. Knowledge of stored procedures and functions. The right candidate will be re-working old code and working in new functionality. Must be able to sift through issues and resolve quickly.* * * *B skills- If no PL SQL skills, t-SQL acceptable, provide estimates for scope of work, ability to track and report on progress.* * * * * *Client is looking for a consultant with both C#.net experience as well as Oracle PL SQL experience. However, If they have C# but T-SQL (MS SQL Server) combination, that may be okay, as they can transfer the T-SQL skills over to PL/SQL without a large learning curve. Experience knowledge in Oracle 10g, PL SQL is preferred, stored procedures and functions, Firm understanding of relational database design. Strong analysis skills within a relational database, experience with conducting impact analysis. Responsibilities will include taking design specs and breaking them down into a logical design path, Provide estimate for scope of work, manage time to scope and project completion and report to PM program manager project advancement. Financial, stock trading and insurance industry experience preferred. In conjunction with Oracle skills.
