Hi partner, Please let me know, If you have any suitable consultants available on the below urgent requirement Title : SNMP Developer Location : Fairfield, CT Start Date : ASAP Duration : 6 months NEED AN IN-PERSON INTERVIEW, AFTER THE INITIAL PHONE SCREEN POSITION DESCRIPTION Consulting position to help us define and develop an SNMP strategy for a new family of products. The candidate will be an individual contributor involved in: . Design, Coding, Maintenance and Unit Testing of IP telecom products, in the areas of SNMP Agent and MIB development. . Define, develop, implementation, and testing of SNMP Monitoring Tools for new product development. . The implementation, configuration and testing of open source or commercial network managements tools for the purposes of monitoring our devices. This person will be responsible to drive design documents, functional and technical specifications from other developers on the team. The position requires the selected person to possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The position interfaces with IPC's customers, Sales Support, Product Management, and all Engineering development teams. EDUCATION . Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required. . Masters Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is preferred. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE . Should be an expert in SNMP v1/v2c/v3, ASN.1, MIB development and implementation. . Knowledge of SNMP tools such as Net-SNMP, OpenNMS, Zabbix, HPOV etc. . C++ on Unix and/or Linux (Linux is heavily preferred) . Unix/Linux system administration . Familiar with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL. . VoIP Telephony experience . Strong verbal and written communication . Process (full life cycle development) . Systems- and architecture-level design experience . Familiar with network interfacing and administration DESIRED EXPERIENCE . Recent experience in VoIP telephony. . Experience in IP and networking protocols and architectures. . Experience in security, including security of networks, servers, and VoIP systems.
