The manager will be the Regional head of Global Web Services (Support) The candidate will dedicate 100% of his time supporting a critical customer of GWS in the process of expanding its existing capacity in NY. He will setup the underlying J2EE, and iPlanet infrastructure and support the development team. He will leverage his hands-on J2EE Weblogic expertise to assist the Development team to productionize their application. He will also train the Production Support team to ensure the Highest Quality of service. The project consists in building a new instance of an existing application on new hardware and software. The existing application consist of several weblogic 8.x and 9.x domains running on Linux/Solaris connecting to Oracle and JMS. The new application will consist of weblogic 10 domains running on a new platform. He will coordinate efforts and represent GWS to the candidate. He will interact closely with the development team providing support/suggestions/troubleshooting..
