Duration: 6+ months
Required Knowledge & Skills:
D. Technical Skills Needed
Required Skills: UNIX scripting, ClearCase/ClearQuest, Linux, SQL,
Java Excellent Communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Ability to listen to user issues and translate to determine appropriate
technical solution.
Ability to work autonomously and with a diverse team.
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
Opsware experience a plus
Years of experience: 5+
E. Soft Skills Needed Ability to proactively communicate and manage
risks/issues.
Strong sense of urgency
F. Project Description/Daily Assignment
Detailed Description of Daily Assignment:
Software Build/Configuration Engineer will focus on providing
compile/packaging support for Retail Systems organization.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for packaging process for software
components delivered to Unix Systems.
Candidate will work closely with Development, QA and Configuration
Management "CCM" teams to prepare, produce, and deploy daily packages of
software builds. Candidate will work closely with ClearCase and ClearQuest
team to ensure administration of approved standards and processes.
