This contractors focus will be on managing PDS applications servers , Lower Environment and *Production Support, Unix Support Coordination, DNSUPP Support Coordination, H/W Monitoring, Service Monitoring, and 24/7 VN Primary Support. * Provide infrastructure and production support to financial reporting applications. The system includes *Solaris, Linux, Oracle, Abnitio and web applications*. • Assist in the execution of PDS valuation for financial reporting. • Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. Strong *UNIX *knowledge. Experience in *Linux and Solaris.* • Working experience in *UNIX shell and Perl scripting.* • Knowledge of web services. *HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic.* • Sufficient knowledge of *SQL commands.* • Experience in system monitoring tools. • Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures. • Well developed written and verbal communication skills. • A team player. Need to work closely with other team members to provide around the clock operations support. • *Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience.* In-depth knowledge in *Oracle database and applications.* • Experience in system monitoring tools. • Experience in creating automation tools. • Trouble ticket system, like Remedy.
