* * *Position Title:* Peoplesoft Developer** *Work Location:* Torrance, CA *Estimated Duration:* 8 month Contract *****Need to be Local to Southern California***** Please note that these developers must be strong in the Financial areas of Peoplesoft and MUST have prior Mainframe/DB2 experience (as the description indicates candidates who have Oracle experience instead of DB2 will not be considered for these positions. *Description:* The Peoplesoft Developer will be responsible for development, implementation and integration efforts for Peoplesoft financial modules (AR/AP/Billing/etc) in a Mainframe environment. Candidates must have strong design skills using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Engine tracing, PeopleCode tracing. Must have strong knowledge in PSFT Billing, GL, AR, Contracts and have senior level skills with Billing, Contracts and GL configurations, tables and delivered programs. Must be able to move objects into mainframe batch environment (migration of objects, job scheduling, and monitoring) and be able to determine action plan to improve application run-times and to tune applications in a mainframe environment. Must have strong SQR coding skills, TSO, ISPF, JCL and DB2 (Oracle is not sufficient), GDG dataset creation and USS (UNIX system services), execution of Application Engine on mainframe. Must be able to troubleshoot and fix application issues in a production environment.
