In addition I also made a maintenance release for the perl branch versioned 0.29 which contains items that were pending in the bug tracker. I cleaned out the bug tracker and am happy to report that remaining items fit on a single page again and are mostly wish list items. So plenty of space to report all issues in this release... I want to thank all of you for your support during the past year, for testing the re-write in various stages of completeness and for adding translations. Cheers! [Zim-wiki] Bug in Zim 0.42 with generating the index for older notebooks
Dear all, Turns out there is a irritating bug in the 0.42 release. On first time usage of a notebook generating the index usually fails, causing migration from 0.28 more troublesome than I hoped :( Fortunately it goes way after closing and re-opening the notebook (possibly a few times). Or run 'zim --index /path/to/notebook' to generate the index. Afraid this bug will make it necessary to have a new release rather sooner than later. Need to decide if that will be this week or next. Depends on what else pops up to include in a release. Patch committed in rev182. See bug #505807 for status updates. Hi Jaap, If anyone wants to make a donation, how may they do this? Do you have a Paypal account or other preference? I searched zim-wiki.org and the Launchpad site for Zim, and I didn't see any Donation button. Unless I missed it, maybe that could be added in the near future?
