[Zim-wiki] (no subject)
Hello. What do I need to add to the wiki/default template to remove the line feed above each heading? Thanks. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

If you're not using (for example) mark (aka highlight, Ctrl+U) for anything else on the site, you could set its exported HTML style to be italic instead of highlighted and use that. ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

Ah, OK, just apply any other format then. I would use verbatim, but bold or mark would work, too. Out of curiosity, why don't you want them linked? Are they examples that don't point to actual websites? ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

The unlinking was the idea.. I am exporting it to a website, but don't want those links to appear as links... The slashes disappear because Zim uses // to mark the beginning and end of italics (see what happens when you type //http://;). Also, Zim only supports simple formatting; even if the slashes didn't disappear, applying italic formatting to a link would unlink it (as making a link bold does now). ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Zim-wiki] (no subject)
Yes, italic was for aesthetic reasons. I don't want them as link as these are suggested citations for the web page itself.. having a link pointing at the page itself seems a bit, well, pointless ;-). When setting a link in italic, e.g., *http://vegetationmap4africa.org http://vegetationmap4africa.org* it is changed to http: vegetationmap4africa.org// Any idea how to avoid this? ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
Re: [Zim-wiki] (no subject)
It is actually very common - I would say even standard - for canonical self-reference links on pages to be live and point back to that page. That way the whole page can be copied/exported as a unit without any changes and everything just works. Hi All I have just stated to use Zim and i like it lot, it is quick, clean and simple. I have a question that I have not found the answer to in the documentation, is it possible to organize the index in a non alphabetical order i.e. can I manually order the index so that my most used tree is at the top? Many thanks for talking the time to read the question and looking forward to the reply Regards John ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki Post to : zim-wiki@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~zim-wiki More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

You can use numbers to organize your pages Ex: 1 my first page 2 my second -- Olivier Boesch Dotan Cohen dotanco...@gmail.com a écrit : On Tue, May 8, 2012 at 3:19 PM, John Lynch lynchie...@live.ie wrote: Hi All I have just stated to use Zim and i like it lot, it is quick, clean and simple.
