Could be there is some glitch in the index. To re-build the index in zim,
please close the window and from the terminal run "zim --index -V
/path/to/notebook" this will make sure the cache is fresh.

Zim uses UTF-8 internally, regardless of the file system encoding. So, I'm
not sure I understand your question.

The new page name encoding under linux is defaulted to utf-8, while
under windows it is not ( GBK ), this resulted a bad order in the
Contents panel, and focusing behavior in the panel some times goes wrong
too.
