Merge as rev847
Made a change to the keybindings: made it default to D for
Duplicate and K for remove line (mnemonic "kill line") --
these happen to be the same as the bindings of the atom editor.

Hi Johannes,
I'm not sure how to install it from bazaar so I'll wait until this plugin
will be part of Zim. Hopefully soon.
We didn't have an update for a long time. I hope that everything is fine
with Jaap.
Cheers!

Hi,
I am not sure if this plugin will be merged soon, however you can

Is there a simple instruction how to install the updated version of this
plugin in Zim in Ubuntu or will the updated plugin soon be part of Zim
anyway?

No.
From the help page:

Go one page forward in history
Go one level up in the page hierarchy

Hello,
As I shared with Johannes previously
In Zim, ALT + Up/Down is doing the same as ALT + Left/Right. Right?
So I think ALT + Up/Down would be my favourite.
But there is other possibilities being used:
Atom: CTRL + Up/Down
Notepad++: CTRL + Shift + Up/Down
Sublime:
Hi again (and sorry for the spam),
I just noticed that Ctrl+Up/Down is already used for the next / previous
/physical/ line, as created by hits of the return key, while Up/Down
moves between /visual/ lines, as created by either hits of the return
key /or/ word wrap at the window boundary.
Hi Johannes,
Thanks a lot for your plugin.
Regarding keyboard shortcuts, I always loved the way workflowy [1] does
it and I had the idea of copying part of its functionality into ZIM. I
think your plugin brings us fairly close already.
Workflowy uses the following shortcuts (but I'm happy
Hi Jaap,
thanks! Regarding the keybindings, I don't know any guidelines. For
'move line up/down' I believe that combinations like
Ctrl(+Shift)+Up/Down are common and since there are no further
constraints I prefer the simplest (Ctrl+Up/Down). Delete line I would
maybe put on Ctrl+D, but this
Hi Johannes,
Patch looks good, so want to merge it. Just one question about the key
bindings you choose, is there a specific rationale for these specific keys
(other tools that use the same, interface guidelines, ...) or did you
choose them on availability ?
Thanks,
Jaap

Hi all,
I pushed new changes to the branch. The linesorter plugin now includes a
delete and duplicate line shortcut. Furthermore the move line up/down
shortcut works also when multiple lines are selected.

Johannes

Hi all,
thanks for the feedback. So it looks like there is some interest in the
feature. Regarding the implementation, for now I will combine the code
with the linesorter plugin. Let me know if you have any concerns with that.
I will also look into including further features like:
- delete
Hi Johannes,
I would suggest the Move Line feature to be implemented in plugin
format. Maybe the integration with the Line Sorter plugin should be
considered, but this is up to you.
Maybe you could also consider to add some other line operations which
can make your implementation more
Hi,
I use the task list feature a lot (especially research). It would be great
to have it implemented (either by default or through line sorter).
Would it be better to integrate it into the line-sorter plugin than a
standalone one?
Would it be possible to also organize hierarchies within task
Great idea! Would love to have it in Zim, thanks!

Hi Johannes,
It would be useful for me for the same reason - moving TODO entries, so
thanks for sharing!
