Dear Ones,
   I was just checking the Drudge Report. He referenced a story
( http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,200~20954~1456010,00.html 
)about people named David Nelson being hassled at airports because there 
is allegedly a wanted terrorist by that name. The story went on to 
report that David Nelson, the actor/producer (brother of Ricky, son of 
Ozzie and Harriet; now 66 years old. Is it possible???)) was stopped 
while flying to visit his daughter in Salt Lake.
   Anyone know of an LDS connection with this famous family?

I suppose the problem is not newspapers, but those who read them.

If the vast majority of people were not prepared to believe at first 
glance everything fed to them by the news media, journalists with an 
agenda would be wholly frustrated in their attempts to lead public 
opinion.

How many saw the news reports about looting in Iraq, and immediately 
believed the stories?  Why are we so gullible and naive?
