A person cannot hold the priesthood without having it conferred upon him by one having authority to do so. Hence, the sons of Levi will only have the priesthood if they receive it from Salt Lake City, or the New Jerusalem, in the first place. He won't have to phone for further instructions. He will already have his instructions. Also, without a Patriarchal Blessing he would have no way of knowing that he was a literal descendent of Levi. John W.
