Except that I would have to include myself in that category, but I was referring
to two others. Too bad the lingua franca here isn't Tahitian. My brother, who
served in French Polynesia, says that Tahitian not only has a singular and a
plural, but a dual, and it has two plurals, an inclusive (us guys) and an
exclusive (you guys). Besides, if we're really getting academically correct about
this, we should use a Hebraic formulation, like, say, Zionihimis. Since Pat
Buchanan strikes me as the kind of guy who probably thinks the Bible was
originally written in English, the joke would be lost on him. But we expect a
higher standard here, n'est-ce pas?
