Thank you, Jim, for putting this out here. I love to read the Discourses of Brigham Young This book has been a great comfort to me and I have learned so much from it. Each time I read it again, I learn something new (hmmm, go figure). This particular passage is full of hope--it is beautiful and really leaves one with a sense of "duh"--you know, like "of course there is more out there" and it all seems to make more sense. It makes me feel like a real part of that big eternal plan.
Somehow, when I read the words of BY, everything is clearer and I don't worry about the future or seeing my dear husband again. It is when I get away from it (meaning scriptures/teachings in general) that I sink into the depths of depression. I needed this pick-me-up today--first holidays and all.
