I am working for the Forest Service this summer, counting all the trees on the mountains of Ashley National Forest. I have driven through most of these towns on the way up to the forest. At night I'm sleeping in a trailer in an RV park in Vernal. One of the survey team members I was working with is from Tridell. Turns out that her family, the Brinkerhoffs, are also relatives of my brother-in-law. It was interesting to make the connection. Incidentally, although bovine and equine immunization has been available for a couple of years, no human vaccine for West Nile is yet available. I have read that it will be at least two more years before the newly developmed vaccine can be produced in large enough quantities to start distributing to the public. I wonder if there is a there a way to get vaccinated through private sources. Like many of the "important" government officials who had access to Cipro during the Anthrax scare.
