Paul, I have never really been active on the message boards. It is the closed FAIR list where I spend most of my time. I am not aware of when or how you were kicked off or brought back, but I do know there is some discussion of the value of the message boards, but more because of the anti's that get on and cause disenstion among the participants. I decided to add an addendum reply onto this message. I am indeed sorry to hear that the church is just announcing or seeming to announce that the papyri was indeed a funeral text. I also understand that not all the papyri can be traced because some of it was burned. It could be that Joseph Smith was translating from that, right? Hey, I like your site and will continue to look at it when I have time. For the article on blood atonement I would also suggest adding passages from the Old Testament where it was commanded to kill the offenders. Talk about Korah, Dathan and Abiram. (Excuse spelling.) Well, can you answer me another question which I am very curious about? You know that many years ago the book and film THE GOD MAKERS was aptly refuted by the book THE TRUTH ABOUT THE GOD MAKERS. I liked the way in which this author did his refutation, even though I found fault with some of his arguments. I liked the fact that he was willing to answer the book and film in detail rather than giving a superficial answer. Why haven't the Tanners, to my knowledge, been refuted in exactly the same way, since probably every known anti-Mormon seems to get around to referring to them? Maybe they have been in THEY LIE IN WAIT TO DECEIVE but I haven't been able to read those books, which I think is a travesty, because I may never learn what is in those books.
