yes, this seems like a good idea...I have no control over how verizonbusiness.com name servers respond, so having zonecheck generate a hint instead of a fatal error would allow our customers to continue to use our digex.com name servers for their .fr domains. I also responded to Stephane Bortzmeyer directly, suggesting that perhaps zonecheck could check for address records if a SERVFAIL response is received. Thanks for your responses.
