Do note that SMTP servers (MTA) are much more severe, many refuse to
talk to a client without a successful PTR->A check.

RFC 1912, section 2.1. Note that the default is just a warning since
the proper PTR does not depend only on the name server administrator
but also on his access provider / operator.
