Does it make any difference as to where or what kind of fs that the 
zoneroot is mounted? and is there any difference with a whole root zone?

Actually, that's not quite right.  Standard upgrade is supported in
upgrading from 3/05 to 1/06.

S10 6/06: Will not use LiveUpgrade to update a zoned system.  If you 
want to update a zoned system, you must use Standard Upgrade.



The situation with 6/06 is the same as with 1/06 - standard upgrade
only is supported for systems with zones.

The only release where there is currently no upgrade solution is in
Nevada.

[zones-discuss] Open storage

We am currently planning the openstorage summit planned for oct 26-27 in 
san jose, ca.


I am currently looking for speakers with either interesting how-to's, 
case studies, or novel approaches to using zfs, cheap disk or ssd's. We 
also have a track on cloud and building out vdi.


If you are interested in presenting please send me a brief description 
of your ideas.


We also are planning both a plug-fest and hack-a-thon during the event.
