[zones-discuss] Live upgrade issue with zones
I 'm running solaris10 u6 with 141414-02. My system is T5220 running 2 Ldoms and 7 zones on primary domain. I 'm tryin to create booth environment on my alternate root disk after breaking the SVM mirroring but it does not go well and stuck at some point , and i have to reboot the system to get rid of the /.alt file systems .. what could be the reason for this and how can i upgrade the system to update 8 ? if i do df -h i get following result .. df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/var/run: No such file or directory df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/zones/app/FMW1_lab-Sol10_u6/lu: No such file or directory df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/zones/app/FMW2_lab-Sol10_u6/lu: No such file or directory df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/zones/app/OID1_lab/lu: No such file or directory df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/zones/app/OID2_lab/lu: No such file or directory df: cannot statvfs /.alt.tmp.b-1Te.mnt/zones/app/OID0_lab/lu: No such file or directory steps i followed 1. mount u8 media 2. ./liveupgrade20 -noconsole -nodisplay 3. lucreate -c Sol10_u6 -n sol10_u8 -m /:/dev/md/dsk/d20:ufs -m /zones:/dev/md/dsk/d22:ufs -m -:/dev/md/dsk/d21:swap -m -:/dev/md/dsk/d23:swap it runs for few hrs and then lustatus shows following # lustatus Boot Environment Is Active ActiveCanCopy Name Complete NowOn Reboot Delete Status -- -- - -- -- Sol10_u6 yes yesyes no - sol10_u8 no no noyes- -- This message posted from opensolaris.org ___ zones-discuss mailing list zones-discuss@opensolaris.org
