I just tried an experiment with mknod -p. Named pipes are not visible across zones using that method. If you create a named pipe in one zone, it is not visible in other zones. This includes the global zone. That experiment was done on Solaris Nevada build 50. Steffen Weiberle wrote: Thanks,
