Hi Simon,
Why do you want to choose specific CPU's by ID number?
If you don't care which CPU's you get, you can use processor sets and Dynamic
Resource Pools:

You can also pin down certain CPUs and let others 'float' by using DRP.

Hi,
Is it possible to identify specific CPU's one would want to include in a
resource pool (e.g. with the cpu.sys_id variable), much like how one
does it with prset? I understand that processor sets and dynamic
resource pools cannot coexist, and I'm also aware that one could specify
a pool's locality objective to tight in order to do something similar...
TIA,
Simon.
