Hello All,
I have the version 2.2.5 installed and, since then, I'm getting the
same error when I try to add a new portal object.
Any help?

Two solutions:
1) Temporarily move Hotfix_2000-12-08 to a different place on your
system, restart Zope, create the MailHost, move the product back, and
restart again.
2) Upgrade to Zope 2.2.5b1.
