[Zope] _safe_getob error with LocalFS
We are running: Solaris 2.6 Zope 2.1.6 LocalFS v0.1.4, later upgraded to v0.9.5 Revisions: 1.13 and 1.49 Using a simple dtml method on the local filesystem according to: http://www.zope.org/Members/jfarr/HowTo/DTML_with_LocalFS dtml-var "files['foo.txt'].data" Any ideas as to a solution to this problem? A traceback is listed at the end of this email. [Zope] Zope 2.2.4 dying under Solaris 2.6
I have had Zope 2.0.1, Zope 2.1.6 and Zope 2.2.4 running on Solaris 2.6 and inexplicably, every so often (no definiate amount of time) the Zope dies. I'd like to thank everyone for the suggestions, we do have a C/Python inhouse product that is attached to this Zope. With the suggestions that were mentioned I should be able to confirm if that is the source of the problem fairly shortly. It is currently my number one culprit. Can you arrange to get a core file created, and use xdb/gdb to figure out what code was running when the bug juice squirted? At a higher level, what add-on products are you using with Zope? [Zope] Question: How to generate a core file in Solaris 2.6
I am running Zope 2.1.6 and 2.2.3 under Solaris, and we are having some stability problems. With some previous posts from developers we seem to think that it might be a custom product that we are using that contains some c code. We can't really be certain, although we are devising some tests to examine that possibility. However, since the Zope crashes every few hours, and no core file comes out we are at a loss at how to get one. We have tried increasing the ulimit in the startup script, but this doesn't appear to generate a core. Primarily Zope 2.2.3 and Solaris 2.6 (Patched to a couple of months ago).
