[Zope] cvs (versus) svn

Hi List,
What is the status of cvs and svn in terms of which to use to get what 
software.  I found some messages indicating that Zope went to svn about 
a year ago.

Zope 2.8 or higher - SVN on svn.zope.org
all earlier versions - CVSS on cvs.zope.org
Checkout instructions for SVN and CVS are documented on dev.zope.org I 
think.
