No.  He got it wrong.  ZEO is open-sourced, free, and available for
download and has been since ~ a month ago.  Write to the InfoWorld guy
and tell him.  :-)

InfoWorld is notorious for misreporting then never retracting.  We may
need a letter-writing campaign. :-)
