I have been trying to do the same. i.e. create a logon form,
what I have been told so far is that:
1) I have to use the method user.authenticate(,)
2) however I have found no documentation for user.authenticate() anywhere
3) others have suggested that I read the source:
s you to do the same (though I've
not used it).
