Was the Plone version you used for testing Zope 2.13 compatible? At that time CMF trunk didn't have many changes that affect Plone. The tools-as-utilities changes I recently made might require more work on the Plone side. Who ever that is: The upgrade steps for CMFDefault might give some hints what needs to be upgraded. And you are always welcome to ask questions on this list if you have trouble with upgrading. FWIW I just ran the tests for CMFDefault with Chameleon. Seems to breaks in the doctests due to the way i18n is handled. Hopefully someone will put the effort in to port Plone to CMF 2.3 in time for Plone 5. It's certainly true that CMF is a smaller part of Plone than it used to be, that's down to the introduction of the component architecture so new features tend to be built on that instead. [Zope-CMF] Switching to Chameleon
Hi, finally getting some development done for probably the first time this year. I've been able to switch all my CMF-based projects to Chameleon (via five.pt) and have not hit any problems. Should we do this for CMF 2.3?
