Maik,

Ingeniweb's STMP server is incorrectly configured, anyone who tries to send you mail via a secure connection will not be able to communicate with you... I suggest you get you admin to fix it...

It was, but it was found to have problems. Sadly, the customer never 
really followed up with these so I could never get around to fixing them :-(

If you can, move over to mxODBC. If not, start with the branch and try 
and track down the situations where connections were getting released or 
not released into the pool incorrectly.

If you have any specific questions about the code, I'm happy to answer 
them...
