You could use the (commercial!) ZMxOdbcDA from egenix to connect
via ODBC.

You might look at SQLAlchemy (mssql:// protocol support pyodbc). As 
integration of SQLAlchemy you might check z3c.sqlalchemy and SQLAlchemyDA.
