On Linux (and other *nix systems), only processes running as "root" can bind to ports <= 1024 (these are the so called priviledged ports). Almost surely, the "Plone" setup for Linux therefore uses port 8080 rather than 80. *If* you have root rights on your Linux box, then you can run Zope as root on port 80. You need to change the HTTP port in Zope's configuration file for this.
