Hi All,

There's a Python Conference coming up March 26-28 in Washington.
I think this will be a really great conference and would love to
see a bunch of Zope and Zope 3 presentations. I'll be submitting
proposals for Zope 3 tutorials and papers and will be hosting
a Zope 3 sprint before and/or after the conference. I expect that
a bunch of other ZC folks will be involved too.

I'd like to experiment with some new kinds of sessions during
the conference that provide venues for discussion of issues
or group hacking (sort of like micro sprints, "jumps"? ;).

Please consider submitting a presentation (tutorial, paper, ...)
proposal. The deadline, Dec 15, is pretty soon.

I hope to see you there.

Jim

P.S. The Infrae Sprintathon is an amazing event. There's a lot of
terrific work going on and it's been a great opportunity for people
to get to know each other and work together.

I'd love to have more events like this in the future.

PyCon DC 2003, the first Python Community Conference, has now issued a
formal call for papers, which you can read at

    www.python.org/pycon/cfp.html

The organizing committee is interested in any and all submissions for
presentations. Traditional presentation styles will doubtless be the norm,
but if you would like to experiment with a different format you are
encouraged to mail suggestions to pycon-interest at python dot org if you
are a subscriber to that list, or to the address given at the foot of this
message.

Time is short, so please make sure any questions are sent in promptly. We
will do our best to turn them around quickly.

We look forward to seeing you at PyCon DC 2003, for which registration
details should be published shortly.
