My impression is that Jim felt that this didn't "fly": there was
not enough feedback for him to proceed. I may misunderstand.
I don't think we proceeded past "brainstorm" to "proposal".
In any case, it didn't happen. Anyone want to take up the ball in
the conversation again? Personally, I wanted to just put exactly
what Jim discussed into place and see where it led.

My position should perhaps be taken at least as a straw man.
I'd like to see something like this worked out. I suppose I should
try to come up with some details, concerns, or solutions on the basis
of Jim's document, and work them out here. How about some other
people do that too? :-)
