Thanks. I just ordered the new edition (through Amazon link on your
page). Now, with 2 copies yours is the most expensive book in my
collection;)

Is the example code for 2nd edition up to date? There seems to be a
problem with a template macro when used in 3.31 - the whole page
including navigation menu is being displayed recursively when you
navigate down the menu.

I am following the book by Philipp von Weitershausen (2005) using
an installation of zope 3.31 on Linux.
I cannot locate in the zmi the interface browser shown on page 58.
There are other tabs shown there like Tasks and Services.

I don't see them either.
Is my installation incorrect, or all of this has been removed
since the book publication? Thanks for help.

The latter. Zope 3 has changes quite a bit since the first edition
of teh book. I suggest getting the second edition which covers Zope
3.3 (an extensive update) and 5 whole new chapters.

Are you using the examples-2.0.1 tarball from http://worldcookery.com/
Downloads? It should work.

Yes, I am using examples-2.0.1 tarball. I forgot to mention that the
problem occurs only when I try to use the WorldCookery skin.
E.g. under  [top]  / ++etc++site  / cabbage  / path the preview tab
shows the whole web page, but with the recipe included (i.e. not and
infinite recursion). When I click on some controls in this mini page
I'll get another level of display recursion.

Is this happening because I haven't performed some step not explained
in the 1st edition?

For this test I installed chapter 11.

Thanks,

Roman

The Preview tab is works that way: it creates an iframe. Hence
the recursion.
