I'm having trouble figuring this out - I've got a zope 2.1.4 server that I'm trying to get to work with DCOracle 1.3.1 b1, ZOracleDA 2.2.0 b1, Oracle 8i client and Oracle 8 server on a RH 6.1 Linux machine. The DCOracle test routine *does* work - it connects and says as much. Within Zope I'm

Hi, more newbie questions, I am afraid. I have a ZCatalog result form that boringly forms links this way: dtml-var "busca.getpath(data_record_id_)" Due to the way my site is organized, the URL I get has an unwanted part at the beginning. The part is always the same size, and

If you don't mind the complication, you can use the xml-rpc Java Applet (I can't remember where it comes from) and the Javascript hooks that it provides to make xml-rpc calls from javscript to Zope. Original Message On 6/29/00, 10:14:06 AM, Hung Jung Lu [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote regarding

You should look into using ZCatalog for this purpose. OK - that is a solution that could solve my particular issue, but where would you put it? Would you put it in the Product folder, or in some common place in the ZODB. How would you create it originally? In the products __init__.py or by some

This issue sounds similar to ZScheduler's Schedule catalog. In that case we decided to put the Schedule in the root folder. There is no more global data than the catalog itself, but if there were it could be stored in the catalog folder, since catalogs are folderish. There used to be some code
