Chris - I and my windows users thank you! Some little notes are gathered at http://zopewiki.org/ExternalEditor . The biggest gotcha for EE on windows seems to be that the ZopeExternalEdit.ini in the \program files directory has no effect, it needs to be moved to the user's profile.
